Tragedy hit again at James E. Taylor High School when a student was walking in from a light jog with his track team, collapsed and died. These incidences have been popping up more and more recently across America. There are children participating in athletic programs every single day in Nacogdoches School Districs are at risk of heart failure due to extreme weather conditions, genetics, and health issues. Nacogodoches' borad of trustiess have approved and buggeted for the implementaion of heart defibrillator in schools in NISD's secondary schools.

What is an AED?
An automated electronic defibrillator is a portable device that automatically prompts and delivers and electric shock The heart defibrillator electric shock helps restore the natural rhythm of the heart when a person is experiencing hazardous arrhythmia or cardiac arrest.
